Services and Rates

Redefining Fuerza is a fee for service practice and, as such, is not in network with any insurance carriers.  Clients will be financially responsible for their care at the time of service.  If you are intending to utilize out-of-network benefits through your insurance company, I am happy to supply you with a monthly statement called a superbill, which you can then submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.

Services

Therapy sessions are fifty (50) minutes in length and are categorized as follows:

Initial Diagnostic Intake

This is the clinical jargon that corresponds to our first session together.  This session is about getting to know you and your history, mental health symptoms, goals for therapy, and more.  This session sets the stage for our entire therapy journey together.

Individual Session

This is the standard session that most people think of when picturing therapy.  This session is just me and you, doing what we do; whether that means processing past traumas, discussing this week's events, or something completely different.  We'll find out when we get there, but bottom line is it's just the two of us.

Relational Session

A lot of people would refer to this session as 'couples therapy' but because I work with non-monogamous people and topics, I wanted to be very intentional about my phrasing for this kind of session.  A relational session is a session with a therapist and two or more clients.  The content doesn't change; just the number of people involved.

Redefining Fuerza also offers a FREE fifteen (15) minute consultation call for potential clients.  Consultation calls give us a chance to speak about needs and goals for therapy, to answer any questions you may have about the process, and to assess if our personalities align.  These calls can help ensure that we are a good match to work together before investing further time and energy.

Redefining Fuerza assesses the following fees for service:

  • 15 Minute Consultation Call -- FREE

  • Initial Diagnostic Intake (First Session) -- $275

  • Individual Session --$200

  • Relational Session -- $225
